Using Aloe Vera Shampoo in Your Anti-Drug Hair Test

There’s a good reason why there is sometimes confusion around this popular drug test product called Aloe Vera. It has been known by a variety of different names over the years. Its original name, before it got released commercially, was Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo. It’s also been called old style aloe toxin rid, Aloe Vera tincture, and Aloe Vera juice.

The confusion over the name actually dates back to the FDA, which wanted to ban the term aloe vera from products. According to some sources, the FDA found that a number of cosmetic manufacturers were using it in their products without telling the FDA. This included one of the major manufacturers of the drug hair test kit called Zydot Ultra clean shampoo, which uses aloe vera in its formulation.

The FDA found that many companies were using the term aloe vera in their anti-fungal shampoo products even though they weren’t approved to do so. One of the cosmetic companies that was found to be doing so, and which was also the manufacturer of the Zydot Ultra clean shampoo, was Astroglide. Astroglide settled for a settlement with the FDA after it was discovered that their shampoo contained Sodium Laureth Sulfate. This is the main ingredient used in soap for treating dandruff and acne, but it’s a strong degreasing agent. When used in aloe rid shampoo, it can strip the hair out over time.
